So if you’ve read my other posts you should know by now that I love Tanya Burr, so it should come as no surprise that I’m definitely a bit inspired by her. About a week ago I was avoiding my homework like the plague and was on an endless youtube loop of watching vine compilations, which I often do, and after about an hour of vines I decided to hunker down and actually get some work done, and then I thought nah better not and ended up watching Tanya Burr’s blog where she hangs out where Harry Styles’ lives, which grabbed me by the name because I quite like One Direction.
Anyways back to the point of this post, in the blog she had a super pretty dress on, and naturally I had to have it, so I went to the site and looked more into it, and realized for only $49 a month you can receive 2 pieces of jewelry, and three pieces of clothing. So it is pretty much like birch box or any of the other beauty boxes you get once a month, but where it defers is quite interesting, you don’t actually keep the pieces, you can but you have to pay for it, which the prices are at a very reduced price, and you send it back (which they give you a prepaid shipping bag to send back so its free) whenever you want, so you can keep everything for a day and send it back, or you can keep it for however long you want, and as soon as you send it back another box will come in. The best part is you can get as many boxes in a month as you want, so you never have to repeat an outfit! If you would like to try it out just click on this link, and you can sign up for it, and get your first month free!
Today I received a box in the mail, and I would have taken pictures, but with midterms upon me I don’t have enough time so you will have to deal with the websites pictures, sorry!!!
When I first opened the box there was an envelope on top with my name handwritten, and when I opened it up it was a letter welcoming me to Le Tote, it was the cutest thing ever, because it was all hand written, meaning someone actually took their time to write it out, and I though that was so thoughtful. Next there was a little measuring tape, which is adorable, and useful because whenever they have sizing charts they always correlate back to inches and centimeters, and honestly I don’t know my measurements, but now I do! There was also a tote bag in there that was black with gold writing that said Le Tote on the sides with their logo in the middle.
Onto the clothing I ended up getting three dresses, pictured below:
The red dress was super cute, and I loved the style, although my boobs didn’t fit, which was a shame, but the other dresses fit fine so there was hope.
The blue dress is definitely my favorite, its a nice thick material that is super comfortable, plus it has pockets and long sleeves! I think if I don’t keep it I will definitely have to have them resend it to me.
For the last dress, when I had originally hearted it on the site I thought it was actually navy blue and red, so I was a bit surprised when I got it, although it is still lovely. I actually ended up wearing this dress to class today, and loved it, my only problem with it is that it has pockets, which normally would be awesome, but the pockets aren’t deep and they make the dress bunch up a bit when I walk, but other than that its really cute, and has this cool strip down the arm with little rectangle cut outs.
The jewelry is probably what I am most excited for, because every time I go shopping I say to myself I need to get more jewelry, but I always wimp out because I don’t know what to get, but now I have someone making me get it so its a great way for me to branch out and see what I like and what I don’t like.
The necklace I got is a beautiful collar necklace, the only problem is, is that I’m not used to having a necklace on and having one so close to my neck kind of freaks me out, but I am going to give it a try to get used to it, because it truly is adorable on.
I also got a nice rose gold bracelet with three charms on it, and I’m actually still wearing it I love it so much. The only thing is I’m a little weary of the material, and afraid if I get it wet when I wash my hands it will turn my wrist green so I will have to test it out a bit to see if I want to keep, which is the beauty of Le Tote.
So that was my Le Tote “haul” I don’t know if I can call it a haul, but I’m going to, and again if you think this is something you want to do you can check it out here, and you will get the first month free! But you have to hurry because this only lasts for three days. I think its totally worth the money, instead of buying a bunch of clothes that you will only wear a few times you can just spend $49 dollars for as many clothes as you want.
I hope you enjoyed, also you can follow me on twitter, if you want to keep up with what I’m doing every day!
